But the truth must be told it may also be because Gaddafi was planning to make a unified African currency based on gold totally crushing the US dollar system which US uses to suppress other economies through foolish baseless sanctions. He was trying to make a unified African military more like the African NATO which would have saved him had he formed it earlier. On top of all this he suggested that African economies should take full control of their minerals as was the case with Libya: they had full control of their oil. He was planning to make a replica of the WOrld Bank for africa freeing this continent from debts.
