HopStop was a mapping and transit information app that provided directions, travel times, and estimated fares for public transit in major cities around the world. It was an incredibly popular app, with over 30 million users at the time of its acquisition by Apple. After the sale, Echeruo became one of the richest and most successful Nigerian entrepreneurs of his generation. He has since gone on to found other successful tech companies.
