1,Jupiter and Saturn don’t experience “rain” in the same way that Earth does. However, these gas giants do have atmospheric precipitation! On Jupiter, it rains liquid helium and liquid hydrogen, while on Saturn, it rains frozen diamonds and frozen rubies. These materials are carried up from the depths of the planets’ atmospheres by powerful storms and then “rain” back down. This atmospheric precipitation is one of the many ways that Jupiter and Saturn are different from Earth.
