There are a few people in the Bible who are said to have never experienced physical death. The most notable examples are Enoch and Elijah. The Bible says that God “took” Enoch, meaning he never died (Genesis 5:24). Elijah was also “taken” by God in a whirlwind and is said to be alive in heaven (2 Kings 2:11). In addition, the Bible says that the “righteous” will never die but will be “changed” into immortal bodies at the end of time (1 Corinthians 15:51-54). Do you believe that people can be immortal?
