1,Very Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu (12 June 1945 – 20 November 2005) became governor of Benue State, Nigeria on 2 January 1992, elected on the Social Democratic Party (SDP) platform.
2,
Moses Orshio Adasu, a Nigerian Catholic priest who was appointed as the military governor of Benue State in 1985. However, there is no accurate information about the identity of his first lady. Given the political climate at the time, and the lack of available information, it’s possible that his first lady was not publicly known. As agovernor, Adasu only served for one year before being replaced by a new military governor After his term, he returned to his work as a Catholic priest and served in several parishes. -
1,Patrick Yakowa is the only Catholic priest to have served as a governor of a Nigerian state. He was appointed as the military governor of Kaduna State in 1998, and served until 1999 when the military government handed over power to an elected civilian government. After his term, he returned to his work as a priest and served as the bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto until his death in 2010. As a priest, he was known for his work in education, healthcare, and interfaith dialogue. He was also a well-respected theologian and author.
2,Since Patrick Yakowa was not married, he didn’t have a first lady. As a Catholic priest, he was celibate and took a vow of chastity, which means he didn’t have a spouse or family of his own. As the governor of Kaduna State, he was focused on serving the people of the state and didn’t have a publicly known partner. His legacy is remembered for his work in education, healthcare, and interfaith dialogue, rather than his marital status.
